« back to classes page
Aspiring Adult writers will learn what makes those middle grade and young adult stories best-selling novels that teens love to read. We’ll do close reading of three novels, realistic, fantasy and poetry, to discover the mechanics of this genre and we’ll practice those tricks in writing or revising our own teen stories. You will need to read the novels before coming to the first class. All levels welcome. Ilse Craane has worked in publishing for more than 8 years. She has an MA in English Literature, specializing in children's fantasy books. Currently, she works for an agency for children's book writers and illustrators.
