CourseGraphic This class is designed for the beginning or intermediate birdwatcher interested in the identification of local birds.  This class will enhance your appreciation and enjoyment of wildlife and nature. The class consists of one classroom session and two field trips. We will go to local public lands, hiking and identifying birds in the field through field marks and vocalizations.  More information will be provided in the classroom session.  Bring binoculars (7- or 8- power) to class and field sessions.  Bring any field guide to each session. Suggested field guides: The Sibley Field Guide to Birds of Western North America or National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of North America 97th Edition), both paperbacks.
