French Bûche de Noel - Christmas Yule Log Cake

Buche De Noel is a delicious Christmas tradition in France! These beautiful cakes are created especially during the holidays in every French patisserie. Annie will show you how to make, from scratch, a realistic looking wood log made with a sponge roll cake, filled inside out with chocolate mocha butter cream. True-to-life meringue mushrooms will also be taught to decorate the Yule log. You will get to sample in class and leave with the techniques to make one at home. Bring an apron. $15 material fee paid at class.
