« back to classes page
How well does your teen manage money? The concept of money does not seem to be taken literally by many young adults in this virtual world. College loans might not seem daunting when you are earning a degree, but look at the debt graduates are trying to pay off. Money seems surreal when you tap a plastic card, pay by an app, or use automatic monthly subscriptions charging to your checking account. Finances and real world realities collide when teens turn to young adults and must be responsible for their own expenses. The risks can be high, and poor choices may hurt financial stability for years! Wise financial decisions early in life can leade to financial stability and a bright future.

In this new and expanded hands-on financial simulation class your teen will have fun while learning sound financial decision making. They will learn about creating and managing a budget, paying housing and living expenses, saving, mortgages and the importance of building good credit. Teens will learn to avoid pitfalls such as high interest loans and penalties hidden in contracts. The skills learned in this class can help secure a more prosperous future.
