Natural Gourd Art Basics

Join gourd artist, Bernadette Burns, and learn to embellish nature to make beautiful gourd art pieces. Beginning students will learn gourd art basics: selecting gourds for specific projects, cleaning and prepping gourds for art, placing designs on gourd, wood burning and painting the design with ink dyes and metallic highlights. Project ideas will be shared in class for all levels of students. The gourds used in class are 4-6” in size.
